it’s only a few minutes walking, so a cab would only be about €5 at the most.

Very little, they’re quite near to each other. You could probably walk it if you don’t have too much luggage. Hope this link works for you….

The journey is less than a mile from the centre of O’Connell Street and less than a half mile from O’Connell Bridge to Temple Bar.
The taxi’s have a minimum fare and a sum of about €5 will register on the meter when the clock is activated. Expect to pay €7 for the trip in total.
Better to walk to the hotel and get your bearings for the area at the same time. Also check out the exact location of the hotel, as the term” near to temple Bar ” could end up being out of walking distance.

You can walk it in between 10 to 20 minutes, depending on where your hotel is located, and what part of O’Connell street you’re leaving from.

The bus from the airport will leave you at O’Connell Bridge (at the top of O’Connell Street). Temple Bar is only a couple of minutes’ walk. Unless you arrive in the middle of the night, you could walk it. I wouldn’t bother with a taxi unless there was loads of luggage.

Google your hotel, check if they have a map on the website and see how close O’Connell Bridge is.

Temple Bar is just over the bridge from the end of O’Connell St! You can walk it in less than 10 minutes – maybe 20 minutes if you start at the far end of O’Connell St.
