Wow. Almost exactly One year after the upload date, The A400M starts active military duty.
P.S. Was it me or was that Plane flying with deployed landing gear?
December 13th, 2010 at 6:53 am
@CefiroGuy3 Good one… Still, I think the A400M is a worthy successor of both the C17 and the C130
December 13th, 2010 at 7:20 am
@DragonClutch No, they usually keep the gear down for the test flight.
December 13th, 2010 at 8:05 am
@32574 Well than obviously you don’t know much about airplanes. Both airplanes are designed and built for the same purpose. Which means that they will look similar. Its not the first time. There are many planes built by different companies and they always look similar when built for the same purpose.
Do some research b4 you make dumb comments.
December 13th, 2010 at 8:41 am
@ajdeblaeij might not know much ‘
bout airplanes but i sure can tell this is a fake ass copy of c 130
December 13th, 2010 at 9:12 am
@blablubb12345 still !!! fake ass copy of c130!!! fuck europe fuck airbus !!!
December 13th, 2010 at 10:12 am
@32574 Your insane. If you know nothing about airplanes than shut up, don’t show it openly.
December 13th, 2010 at 10:38 am
@32574 i was thinking it looks like a c-17 with props
December 13th, 2010 at 11:22 am
fat glede
December 13th, 2010 at 11:37 am
@32574
Are you blind? There is not one single part identical to the C130, not to mention that it lifts almost TWICE as much as a C130.
December 13th, 2010 at 12:11 pm
C130 !!!! AIRBUS JUST CHANGED THE STICKERS IN IT A GAVE IT ANOTHER NAME !!! SHOULD BE SUIED FOR THAT
December 13th, 2010 at 12:25 pm
it looks like the globe-master ._.
December 13th, 2010 at 12:36 pm
It look like the k c130
December 13th, 2010 at 12:48 pm
@thermo81 Because we gained our independence from the British empire, thus Europe, and we became the New World. It’s a matter of pride.
December 13th, 2010 at 1:32 pm
@flyboymd82 Why do you Americans always have to be so bitchy when it comes to Europe?
December 13th, 2010 at 2:30 pm
@noodleninjaa Not really. The same can be said for almost all cargo aircraft, as it dictates a rear ramp-loading high-wing / t-tail design automatically.
December 13th, 2010 at 2:57 pm
@SuperDave619
Get your facts strait.
Tu160 first flight: 1981
B1 first flight: 1974
Space Shuttle first spaceflight: 1981
Buran first and only spaceflight: 1988
What “new shuttles” do you mean? There is only the space shuttle and the buran.
December 13th, 2010 at 3:10 pm
@flyboymd82 Russia did not steal all of Boeing designs. They just steal a bit of Boeings and Airbuses and other aircraft systems. But they also have their own aircrafts. Su-47 for example. Tu-160 was developed long before B-1 Bomber. Buran was the first Space Shuttle and all the new Shuttles look like Burans. Come on, everyone leeches off everyone else. It’s just capitalism.
December 13th, 2010 at 3:38 pm
@noodleninjaa “I can see the C-17 influence in this aircraft.”
Yes, it has wings.
December 13th, 2010 at 4:37 pm
December 13th, 2010 at 4:41 pm
It’s the C17 with props
December 13th, 2010 at 5:34 pm
@flyboymd82 Due wtf? I hate this place for the same reason, I’ll be immigrating to canada soon enough. Apart from that, this is just Airbus’s first military plane, U.S. has better military planes anyway, it’s just dont be to harsh on Airbus’s first one. The 707 wasn’t that great for a civil jet either, nor the A300 was, infact that one looses from the 767 in that time. They had to start somehow.
December 13th, 2010 at 5:57 pm
@sonicfan7 LMAO!! The C-17 can land & stop in under 1000 feet & take off fully loaded in under 2300 feet & can use pave, unpaved, grass runways as well. Can this peice of shit do the same?
Blow me Mr Amsterdam. Go suck some dick in one of your gay bath-houses in that joke of the world you live in.
December 13th, 2010 at 5:57 pm
@flyboymd82 This one is significantly smaller, designed for smaller distances, shorter runways, unpaved runway’s. Just shut the fuck up U.S. Imbicile.
